Mummers' Festival at Bowring Park
It's been my eigth year attending the Mummers' Festival and seeing everyone gathering on a windy and rainy day shows commitment to this tradition.
Hobby horses, mummers in long johns and doilies covering faces, rubber boots, families enjoying being part of the parade at bowring park.
I took photos capturing all that has happened. This started at about 11:30am and the parade went on until 2:00pm with Bud Davich and his crew singing a few good Newfoundland tunes for the people at the amphitheatre.
