Hold Fast Festival
If you haven't heard of the Hold Fast Festival in St. John's, Newfoundland, it was started 27 years ago at Eastern Edge Gallery.
It's a local community engagement for all sorts of forms of art presented around, outside, inside the gallery.
Many artists, from away and local came to present and showcase their beautiful and interesting work. I was engaged with many of the people, hearing their stories, whey they do what they do and why they love it.
I was so lucky to be asked to engage and photograph all that was going on, meeting new friends, and seeing all that was happening. Thanks to Shireen Merchant and Eastern Edge Gallery, along with all the sponsors that helped make this happen this year of 2026.
